Our research led us to the conclusion that a large number of businesses, organizations and private individuals are massively being taken for a ride when it comes to web sites. Most web design and development companies know and exploit the fact that many customers don't really know what a website entails. They are often blinded by the graphics used in web pages, to such an extend that customers never ask to many questions.

A large number of websites contain obvious spelling and grammar mistakes, contain very little information of interest and are incomplete. We were amazed to find very few sites which utilized any form of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), lacked Meta Descriptions or Tags, have any Robot.txt files or were actually submitted for indexing to Search Engines. Even less contained site maps and last updated indicators for easy navigation and use by search engines. What good does a beautifully designed web page do, when nobody can find it on the internet ?

We also found that many websites were slow, outdated and made use of tables or the "slice and dice" techniques. High ranking websites on search engines make use of the Indistry Standard CSS style layouts, which are not only faster but are also more Search Engine Friendly.

Creative Web Solutions uses two techniques to design web pages. Option one is the CMS (Content Management System) style, which allows the owner/end-user to update their own web content, including new writeups, pictures (graphics) and videos. No third party software is needed and updating is done directly on the site. Option two entails the CSS Static Style. This option is more suited for businesses of which the content of the website very seldomly changes. Changes to the website must be done by us when needed.
